Totnes Late Night Shopping       

Once again Bob the Bus is running the popular Park and Ride free service from Follaton House into town for the three late night shopping evenings on 8, 15 and 22 December. But this year he is doubling his efforts, bringing in the Bridgetowners as well, with their own ‘bobsleigh’ service – a free shuttle into and around Town for the first time. The bus will leave from opposite the Seven Stars on the hour and half hour, starting from there at 5.30pm, via Westonfields, Blackpost Lane, Duke’s Road, Lansdowne Park, Parkers Way, the Plains, the Rotherfold, round the Bypass and back to opposite the Seven Stars. Last bus home will be at 10.00pm

The Follaton House Park and Ride service will start from Follaton House at 5.30pm, going via the Rotherfold, Bypass, Station Road and opposite the Seven Stars. Then on to St Katherine’s Way, the Rotherfold and back to Follaton House. Last bus leaves from opposite the Seven Stars at 10.00pm.

Bridgetown Bob hopes that this new free shuttle will make a contribution to reducing town traffic congestion, whilst offering all Bridgetown residents an easy way into town on those nights.

Like all Bob Services throughout the year, the Bridgetown Shuttle will be ‘Ho- Ho’ all the way; not just full of festive spirits, but ‘Hop on’ and ‘Hop off’ to suit as many passengers as he can!
