Bob the Bus will be providing transport to St Boniface in Buckfastliegh. By donation only

We will pick you up from your house and take you home again.

The Country bus will be extending their route to Dukes road as a request during Bobs supension, see timetable below

From 5th November Bob 1/2 services will be suspended during the lockdown period

Our Reasons for this suspension:

1.It’s not appropriate to expose our volunteer drivers to a higher level of risk (due to the increased prevalence of the virus in the community).
2. Government guidelines now draw attention to the over-60s being at higher risk of severe illness from coronavirus – the majority of our drivers fall into this category.
3. Many (not all) of our regular passengers are in vulnerable categories, and should not be expected to be using public transport at a time of higher risk.

Due to unforeseen circumstances BOB 1 Bridgetown is cancelled tomorrow FRIDAY 25th Sept. Apologies for any inconvenience caused. Bob 2 will be running as usual and Bob 1 will resume Monday 28th Sept

Bob and team have been supporting the local food bank delivering food to people in need during the corona virus outbreak. During Lockdown many people are stuck at home. Bob the Bus will be arriving at a road near you to cheer you up and get you dancing. Boogie with Bob !

Bob the Bus has suspended all its services since March 20th, consequently the charity is losing income. Rather than the vehicles sitting doing nothing, we are helping the local connection Hub with food deliveries to Totnes and providing transport 2 people at one time to health appointments viaTotnes and Dartmouth Caring. All our drivers are volunteers.

Help us to raise funds to cover the cost of providing this service to our community during this difficult time.

Collection buckets and the Bob team will be adhering to the recommended government guidance.

It is with regret that the committee and trustees have made a decision this evening to terminate all scheduled services with immediate effect until further notice.

This decision has been made due to the Covid 19 pandemic and to safeguard both drivers and passengers from the outbreak of the disease.

We will be contacting local groups to see if Bob assets and drivers can support any of the crucial services currently being provided to the community through this difficult time.
